Football picks Federer, Nadal, Djokovic in a different interview

The three tennis titans Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal gave a curious joint interview for BBC Breakfast. All three are currently fighting for the trophy at the ATP Final Tournament in London. Federer is facing a decisive clash with Djokovic in the group phase on Thursday, and Nadal and the Serb are in the battle of who will finish the year as No. 1 in the world. Asked if the three were friends, Djokovic replied as follows: We`ve been on tours for so many years that I probably see these guys more often than my parents.

Of the three, Nadal is the only one who still has no children. The Spaniard married his longtime girlfriend Siska last month. Federer, however, said that traveling with Mirka and his four children opens up a lot of work and sleepless nights are not uncommon. When asked when they would retire from professional tennis, 38-year-old Federer smiled that he would be the first to do so since he was the oldest. Djokovic, however, believes that the three will most likely quit at the same time.

Nadal praised Andy Murray for his impressive return to the ATP tour after a career-threatening injury, and at the end of the interview the three big ones were joined by their younger rivals in London. Mateo Beretini.
