Football tipsters Journalist Windsor: When Binotto shook his finger at Leclerc, I thought Mattia`s days were numbered

football picks Peter Windsor spoke about the key moment that influenced the departure of Mattia Binotto.

Binotto left his post as head of Ferrari at the end of the 2022 season. The journalist recalled the British Grand Prix, when the team let down Charles Leclerc: the Monegasque claimed victory, but ended up on old tires in the last laps and dropped to fourth place.

I think I had this idea when Charles was inexplicably abandoned to his fate in the final stages of the British Grand Prix, after the restart. He was the only pilot on old tires, and he was simply eaten. He should have won that race.

Naturally, he felt angry and spoke out to everyone - I think especially Mattia - on the radio on the return lap to the pits. In the closed park, Binotto shook his finger at Charles Leclerc - something like there`s no need to say that, I`m the boss of our site.

It is not right. And at that moment, I have to say, I thought, Well, this guy`s days are numbered. Because Charles Leclerc has energy and class on his side, you can`t shake a finger at him and say that you shouldn`t say that - especially in a situation where Leclerc was left to his own devices, said Windsor, who previously worked at Ferrari.

The journalist compared Binotto with his successor, Frederick Wasser:

The situation became aggravated due to the fact that Binotto was much closer to Carlos Sainz than Charles Leclerc. This is great for Carlos Sainz, but it annoyed Charles Leclerc - in my opinion, in reality he is faster anyway. He has a much richer toolkit when it comes to working with the car - especially in racing conditions, under pressure and in the final predicted by archive of football picks moments of qualifying.

Freddie is smart enough to understand how good Charles Leclerc is. I am confident that he will build a very logical management structure.
